Unfortunately, it's been a few years since I've been to the ballet.  My Mother and I would go to see the Nutcracker almost every year.  I miss that.

When was the last time you realized midway through your day (or evening) that you had your undies on inside out!!!!    :shy;

Last year at Xmas with my niece and nephew.  Here's a video of my husband going down a small icy run and rolling over on his head.  Scary to observe but no harm done at all.  He thinks he's 16 instead of 61.

When was the last time you skipped dinner?

When one of my sixth graders said a bad word....I always act shocked and dismayed when I hear bad language come out of the mouths of babes. Even though I can probably out cuss them!

When did you cuss loud enough for someone else to hear it?

yesterday when the nurse "blew" Dad's needle (they were the bloody words she used) WTF !!
 she grinned, said oh  and then told the team leading nurse what happened.  Team leader came over to sort it out.
Meanwhile Dad was spinning out and kept asking what's going on (asked three times) and they didn't explain to him what happened.  He freaked out when he saw his arm get a bloody big lump under the skin.

The last time I wanted to punch someone in the head (mouth really) was just last week when I was in the hospital and a "nurse" came in and saw me and how little I am and then talked to me about all my "misfortunes" in life   ::)  and then said, "well, you were just a throw back, huh?"  (like a bad fish?)  Needless, to say, I told her my faith has not "allowed" me to think that way nor did my Mama "allow" me to think like that and ALSO, that I can always look around & find somebody worse off than I am!!!!!!!    :sir ken;

When was the last time you went to a movie on Christmas day/night?

I call it blowing the vein too, cuz that's what happens.  Technical term is infiltrated but when I've done it (to myself) I usually say "WTF, I just blew my vein".  This is very easy to do with a new fistula especially.  Sometimes it happens while cannulating, sometimes while turning up the pump speed and sometimes if you move in a bad way that causes the needle (not called a "sharp" for nothing) to pierce the vein and pour into the surrounding skin which then blows up like  a mini balloon.

I'd be pissed about the grinning nurse though, I tell ya.
