Wow, Marc, I hope your PCP was able to give you some answers.  I can relate to the nose packing, it's a miserable experience.  the doctor packing my nose said, "tell me when you can feel this in your throat."  :o  Seriously?!  Ugh!  Do you know if the headache was from the pressure of the packing, or was/is it related to whatever caused your nosebleed?   I hope you are felling better.

Thank you all.  The headache was definitely because of the packing.  I had so much pressure behind my eye.  I spoke with my neph who told me that he had not changed my orders for Heparin.  I spoke to the nurses this morning and they said nothing had changed but JIC they did not give me any Heparin today.

Good thing because this is a huge weekend for me.  One of my closest friends from high school is flying in from China tonight for the weekend.  Since he is coming all the way from China I called our two other buddies that live in The San Francisco area and told them to get their buts down here.  My friend from China has no idea they are coming down to see him so it should be a great surprise.  Also, Mishy and DJ are in town from Boston and I really want to see them too.

NxStage came out to update my machine today. Turns out that it was already updated! Apparently the 3rd CU that was sent was an updated one!

How did it finally turn out at the car dealer? Did you get Whitley's picture with Santa and the stocking full of treats?

Yes, went car ddealer and got picture, but have not gotten email of the picture yet. They did not hand out the stocking, I guess I was to early for them to be ready, but why advertise 12 to 4 when santa did not show till 12:45. Next year I hope I do not have to be anywhere when the pet stores do it again.

Merry Christmas. Went out to pick up a couple of things yesterday. Stopped for gas first. Card was declined??? Went home and looked at my account. Someone out by one of the Indian Casinos drained my account. They left me $1. Wells Fargo can't do anything about it yet because the transaction is still just pending.

I have had a similar event happen. The person was making online transactions. It took a couple weeks, many phone calls to finally get my money back except for one transaction (luckily it was less than $15). It is frustrating, gut wrenching, and flabbergasting to have happen. Now in a habit of checking account everyday online, thru phone to make sure nothing else happens and to report asap if something does.
