I ned to be up in 2 hours to get ready o go to the city for a doc visit. No point in sleeping, but why do doctors only have appointments in the morning? I could go for some blueberry pancakes (blueberries inside the batter) and bacon or sausage, but do not know of any places in the city for breakfast other than McDonalds or the hospital cafeteria.

I had Au Bon Cafe 2 eggs, sausage, toast, pineapple chunks, and a coffee after doctors appointment. Then went to Godiva and tried one of their new drinks an bought some chocolate bars, this time a variety pack of their ice cream flavor chocolate bars.

Bad part was train rain late, had to get a cab that was running late due to traffic and road construction. A little tired now, running on 2 hours sleep, fell asleep on train and almost missed my stop, got off train and forgot my medical folder, hoped back on to get it, conductor had to stop train. Do I know how to have fun? :sarcasm;

Ice cream flavour chocolate bars?  Hmmm ... *salivating*

That was an eventful day, Chris.  Did all the other passengers on the train tut-tut you and shake their heads in despair?

Nope, the only other person was sleeping to and snorring!

Yep, ice cream flavred bars, Mint Chocolate Chip, Orange and Cream, Rocky Road, Hazelnut Gelato, and one I am forgetting. Plus I got my monthly free chocolate sample and free gift for buying. They know me there as a regular customer, that could be a bad thing! :rofl;

So your going to Maine to eat blueberries in Spain, or is that  rain? :rofl;

Had an odd day, never made it to my other Microsoft Confrence, but had a godd day with the cane training. We went over guide dogs also because I feel I will be denied since I was with the other place. She really thinks I will not tho and people she thought would be denied did get a dog. So I am still taking it with a grain of salt. If I am denied, no big deal, I kinda expected it, but if I get approved, well that's a bonus. However I do not like the 6:30 am start of the day, I better have my coffee in the morning, but I was never a morning person. The day ends late to. 21 days of training is a good and bad thing, but in the end I can say I went to New York City.

So, my son went to a concert in Beverly Hills tonight with his buddy.  He calls me after the concert to tell me that they have a flat tire and neither of them knows how to change it.  At midnight I added him to my AAA membership (he does not have his license yet) and called in for roadside assistance.  The AAA guy is there and changing their tire.

That's what's lacking in schools, Auto Shop, and reading. His friend should have looked in glove box for owners manuel, but is changing a tire that hard to figure out compared to an iPod, Computer, or an lectronic device? ???

I did ask him to look in the manual but he said that he did not have it. BTW, my son is very well read.  He has read most of the classics just for fun.  No auto shop and I have tried to teach my son basic auto repair but he was never interested.  Maybe this will get him interested.

Getting dirty, venting frustration, and getting cut's and bruises is what makes working on cars fun because of fixing something yourself, well improving performance or looks. ;D

It gets better.  1:30am and I just got a message.  The spare was flat too.  The AAA guy towed them to a service station and dropped off the car so they can buy a new tire in the morning.  Then the AAA guy drove them to a "flee bag" motel up the street for them to get a room.  Turns out the "free" tickets to the concert weren't so free.

They are about 45-50 miles away. Google maps says it would take 1 hour (2 hours 20 minutes with traffic).
