I used to speak spanish.  When I was 15 I did AFS and lived with a family in Spain for a short while.  I did not keep it up.  I remember enough to be able to eat, drink and find my way home.

OH  Gee.....  Working all night in your dreams sounds like me.....   I am either fixing something or going somewhere....  usually adventure dreams....

When I used to go on wilderness canoe trips I ran rapids all night in my sleep too, then got up and did them in real time.  We'd study the maps and upcoming obstacles the day before so it was all fresh.

The tsunami affects are interesting and scary, water receding here at local beaches now.
I pray it doesn't cause more devastation anywhere.

Paris, you are awesome. Just thought I would let you know.

Thank you Marc!  I needed to read that!!

Zeke and Paxton's games were great. Last one of the season.  At 5pm was the awards banquet and I just got home from that.  They had a basketball "handler" who put on a great demonstration of basketball tricks.  He called Zeke up to teach him how to spin a ball on your finger. Zeke was very proud of being picked and did a good job with over 200 people watching him.  Fun day, but I am tired now.

Chris, I am worried about you.  Things just haven't been going your way lately.

Re: language. Beth's friend speaks Arabic, French and English. She asked him what language he thought in.  He says it depends on who he is around. Family it is Arabic and French equally and with Beth it is English. I admire those who can speak several languages.  It is a real talent.

Marc, I will call doctor  on Monday. I'm not going to ER to have some idiot doctor have no idea what he's doing or know my health like my doctor. So far iPhone has been great to update on Facebook. Harder to do on here, so at my pc which is hard for me at this time, but trying to push myself to clean up email notifications.

Good morning all.

I can't wait for tomorrow to go back to work. :sarcasm;

Afrikaans is spoken by the whole of South Africa, either as a first or second language. But every single person has to take 2 languages at school (from kindergarden until 18) one is your own language , in my case Afrikaans, and then English. We have eleven national languages. Most of them native languages. But all our business, colleges and universaties(spelling sorry) and public places are English.

I dream and think in Afrikaans. I think what I want to write done and then I translate it in my head. At home and with family and friends we speak Afrikaans.

Afternoon all,

Work was HELL HELL HELL. :rant; I got there, someone else in my office, nowhere else to sit, no stationery, no computer and within the first half an hour I was crapped on by 2 bosses about my work that was not done while I was ill.

Well, he is an  :sir ken;   and I hate it there.

I really wanted to keep on working but not like this. If he wants me out. I can register for dissability the minute I start on Dialysis.  I actually had some "attack" or something, I was shaking,my heart was thudding and I felt dizzy. and for what!  I don't need this crap from anyone.

ps
I HATE THIS DISEASE!!!!! :'(  It just screws up everything.

but I love IHD  so I win.... at least here.

Please Marc--no trouble!  I am enjoying being slightly bored!!   I did get busy sewing pajamas for our families pajama/book drive.

Chris, how are you doing today?  I hope you check in with us.

And dear Des,  I am sorry.  This disease does mess up our plans for what we thought our lifes should be.  Maybe going on disability would end up by being a good thing.  Take it easy    :cuddle;

Hi all.

Sorry about the rant yesterday... today went better. The boss called me in this morning and told me that I must just sit and  sit and sit. I do not have any responsabilities... at first I thought it was a bad thing but now....  :clap; I am getting paid a heck of a salary for doing absolutely nothing.  YEAH ME!

I cant't wait to work half days! (when D starts)

D is not a bad thing (or is it)

Just wanted to let you know I am doing ok.

Thanks for listening (reading) yesterday. :cuddle;

Chris, you just have to get better. I am really worried about you.  :flower;
