I just got home from the NC State football game.  We had a great time. It was Military Appreciation Day -- so lots of fun things before the game - lowflying helicoptors, sky divers, a flag that covered the entire football field.  BUT, the best part---my grandson, Zeke's Pop Warner football team got to run on the field right before the State football team!!  Just his team; the North Raleigh Bulldogs in their uniforms  and they ran the entire length of the field while they were announced.  And his sister, Paxton is a Pop Warner cheerleader and she was the only cheerleader to run with the team.  How cute were they?  Zeke was so excited. How many get a chance to be a part of a big game, under those lights in a colllege stadium?  Can you tell I had fun?!    Final score: NCState 65 Murray State 8.  Zeke's mom is an NCState alumni, so she was having a great time.    And his team won their game this morning. He was one tired little boy tonight.  Me too!     Long post for I love iHD the most  --- sorry about that   :rofl;

Paris,
What a great night!
My little guy played under the lights tonight too.  They brought their record to 3-0 with their 18-6 win.  His team is alone in first place.

Good morning IHD!

Enjoyed chat last night.  :2thumbsup;

Carl is out riding his bike and I'm puttering around the house - laundry, ironing, tidying. I love these quiet times!

When he gets back, dialysis and then this evening we have a book club followed by dinner with friends.

Exhausted and annoyed. My younger son Liot is irritating me today, which is pathetic because he is just three years old. When he gets in these moods, anything will set him off, and he screams or curls into a ball and says "I need space!". We were out in public today and he was extremely moody, which embarrasses me, and tonight we have dinner with the family of my other son's best friend. I really don't know how I am going to make it through the next few hours. :-\

An old SNL spoof of a Nyquil commercial comes to mind with Chris Farley. The meds puts him asleep through the flu season and when he wakes up, he looks like Grisley Adams with his hair all grown out due to sleeping for so many months.

Marc, you have such an adorable sense of humor!

We went, and actually I had a very nice time! Another couple came over as well, and they brought two toddler boys of their own. Through some magical technique, the hosts managed to keep all six boys in the other room playing together while we ate. There were no bouts of tears or fights over toys. I must learn their secret and sell it all over the world....

That is great!  It is a an unexplained phenomenon with kids.  I don't know how many times I was told how great my kids behaved and all I could think was you should have seen them 20 minutes before we left the house!
