What's past is prologue

Sounds exhausting, Chris. There's one thing I cannot abide for myself, and that's anyone trying to tell me what, when or how much to eat. It just too controlling for me. Eventually you'll be back home making your own food choices anyway, so I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish here.

Your dog looks a real sweetheart. Enjoy getting to know your new best friend!

Last full day in NY and sort of can't wait to get home so I can get away from noisey younger students, yet do not fully feel ready to go. I still need help on a couple things.

Met my puppy raiser at graduation and was given a short photo album of Whitley's  life as a young pup before going into training. I posted most of my pics and videos on facebook since I can not post pics from iPhone onto here.

Not sure what we are doing today since plans maybe different due to rain.

I lost another dialysis friend.  I saw his wife in the parking lot this morning and found out that my friend John had passed.  It was devastating.  I changed my chair time for next Friday so I can attend his memorial service.

Define WELL!  :rofl;
I'm still adjusting to having a guide dog, it is surreal and I wish I was still there due to having a structured out day even tho it was hectic.

I'll post graduation pictures when I get my laptop back from repair. The puppy raiser brought a photographer friend who took some nice photo's that I need to save to my pc along with puppy pictures.

Went to dialysis at 6 this morning so I could attend the funeral of one of my dialysis friends.  I got to spend one last Friday with John.  May he rest in peace.  I miss him very much.  THIS @#$#@#$! SUCKS!

A number of patients I have known have passed.  John was an older sweet  man who no matter what was going on with him, when he saw me he would get a big smile and say well hello!  We talked a lot about sports.  We also talked about family and life in general.  He made dialysis just a little bit easier.  I looked forward to seeing him even though I dread going into dialysis. I am taking his loss much harder.

I'll be happy when fall weather arrives or early spring. Not a fan of humidity which cuts down on walking or being outside.
