It's great to hear how fast your creatinine has reduced, and also great that both you and your brother are doing so well. Take it easy during your recovery, it's rest time now!

For my brother its been fairly easy. He was in the hospital for one day, had a catheter for one day. He still aches where the liproscopic wounds are but he is doing well.

Don't worry, I love this forum. Everybody here knows how one another feels or is going through.
Since they are reducing Predinisone down to 20mg a day now, I think I won't be on insulin very much longer. Today I have had normal readings until this evening but this evening it was still barely over at 122.
I will keep posting information. For those that are interested in Baylor, send me a message with your questions. I will happily answer any questions you have.

As they reduce the prednisone, you may get over that urge to eat CONSTANTLY (that is, if you are suffering from it - I know I did!). Mind you, I'm down to 10mg daily and I still have uncontrollable "stuff my face" days.

Ill get right on it. I'm letting the swelling go down some more before I take the pic. I gained 25 lbs in the hospital, I need to lose it for you to see it.

I posted a scar pic with my belly looking all bloaty and yuck! Because it looks like that constantly now.... however I did gain 10kg in the hospital and I also took that weight off before taking photos, so I can't preach!

Awesome news that things are going well....that prednisone weight is a constant battle, but don't worry about that because YOU HAVE A WORKING KIDNEY!! and yes....drink lots of water!
