even now, after reading about all the other people who have the vomiting as part of their 'dialysis life', the nurses and the neph- still say it isn't dialysis, and that it is not common for a dialysis patient to barf. After being here with all of you , I think they are full of poo
Hmmm,so that is why the nurse always asks me if I was naucious or had vomited. She always seems a little surprised when I say no to both. Havn't been at all sick on hemo but was always sick on my stomach while on pd. Just smelling food while I cooked it would make me sick,but even then ,I did not vomit. I often say you could shove a plumbers helper down my throat and I still would't puke!
I find that if I overeat I feel real full and get sick.I have lost weight, maybe my stomach has shrunk.I do better eating smaller meals more often.
I think most people's stomaches shrink on dialysis, if even only a a very tiny bit... b/c the fact remains you DO eat less on dialysis...
