I will never understand why gas is so much.

I will never understand why the people don't all pull together and don't get gas for 1 day.

I will never understand how the people who make the prices get away with it.

I ran into an old friend today who owns several convenience stores/ gas stations. He is currently paying 3.62 a gallon for gas and it's selling for 3.95. With overhead, I doubt if he's getting rich.

Flip. that was in our paper recently about how much gas is to owners and what they selll it for. That is why they have the stores to bring in more money. They make more money off food, coffee, and other stuff sold in their store than gas.

$4.12 this weekend for regular gas. I have to go to my usual gas station to get E-85 though so I can get a minimum of $300 back when I file in December for some federal and state rebate program.

I had to fill up yesterday and was thrilled to see it had dropped to $3.99, $4.09, $4.19.  I never thought we would see prices below $4.00 again.  That is so sad of a thing to say but it's true.

In a 6 mile radius, the lowest is now $3.99. Elsewhere it is $4.01, even at BP of all places.

Twirl, how did you get the image and save it to your computer? My technique of changing file and then choosing to open with...(different programs) did not work which means I need more information.

Saving to desktop is one problem. It should be saved to a folder called My Pictures, which is a Windows default folder if using Microsoft. Each email service is a little different, Yahoo ask at the bottom of the email if you would like to save or preview it, Hotmail, you have to go to the header and click on one of the underlined picture names or hold down the left mouse button to highlight the picture, then after passing the picture highlighted, right click and choose save picture as. Google Mail at the bottom ask if you want to open or save it, Comcast email, crap forgot. I have Comcast email and barely use it. I have to look at how Outlook handles picture saving, but lets find out which mail service you have and I can look there to see how you need to do it correctly.

Yes, photos have to have a certain file extension, such as .jpg. A .doc file is a document file such as Word 2003 and earlier. There are a few different file extensions used for pictures, but here you can only use certain types and a .jpg file extension is the most popular.
