$3.08 in South Naperville, IL - if you got a car wash, it was $2.98 which was the first time I have seen a "2" as the first digit in a gas price in a LONG time!!

We just paid 2.99 (2.89 with discount!) per gallon at Thornton's in Ottawa, IL

Portland, OR: $2.75 at the cheap stations (Arco). I think it's a bit over $3 at other stations.

I went to get gas yesterday morning and The sign said $2.789 but the pump said $3.789.  I looked like 6 times before I went in and told the lady and she about crapped and said "Oh my... let me fix that..."  She initialized the pump and it came up $2.789.  I wonder how many people by 10:30 in the morning they ripped off!

This same station today was $2.14, $2.04 with a car wash.  So this makes a decrease of almost $1.00/gallon in two months.

$3.08 in South Naperville, IL - if you got a car wash, it was $2.98 which was the first time I have seen a "2" as the first digit in a gas price in a LONG time!!

Gas is around $2.49 a gallon for regular here near Los Angeles. It's nice that (for now) we're not the highest in Calif!

Mid-Missouri still around $2.25, give or take.

News the other day quoted oil at $42 a barrel.  And no one has any plans to reduce production.

Gas prices should be falling a LOT if this continues.

I'm hoping.  Since Retired/Disabled I don't have to drive miles daily to work and back, but 3 acres of yard that's going to turn green very soon.  Gramma will be nagging at me about every 4 or 5 days to get out there and cut.  Oh, and be sure you weed wack around ALL the trees, drive, her concrete benches and stuff, 100 yards of the ditch along the roadway.  She doesn't have a clue how tired I get!

Maybe we should move into an apartment.  That ain't NEVER going to happen.  I'd go stark raving mad. Cramped in.  Where would I park my Harley, the El Camino. son's Impala, my extra AWD Astro, three garden tractors, huge red toolboxes, all the chainsaws, weed-wackers, generators, and assorted other large tools that won't fit into any box?  You know, typical Guy toys.
