I drove by the gas station this morning - it was $4.01 for regular, and 7 hours later it was $4.06 per gallon!  :-\
That's a 10 cent increase in 3 days.

I've been driving my Miata lately because it gets about 30 mpg. My Porsche gets 26 but requires premium. My F150 gets about 10 and is parked except for emergencies.

Today the cheapest I can find is $4.11 a gallon for regular. Most stations are closer to $4.30.

I have a suburban that holds 32 gallons. The gas mileage is about 12 mpg, but I am typically driving 6 to 8 people. Is it's just me I take the other car which gets about 22 mpg.

That's a good way of looking at the situation:  how many people per miles per gallon.

Paid $3.69 a gallon for E-85 (can't wait for rebate in January!!), but regular gas varies across town. $4.18 is the highest with $4.06 the lowest. Glad I didn't get the vehicle I really wanted, it took Premium fuel, and I would be burning it up just to drive and enjoy it.
