We're paying about $1.20 for petrol in Western Sydney.  Which is about US$1.15?

We're paying about $1.20 for petrol in Western Sydney.  Which is about US$1.15?

Compared to us, it still is in many states.  $1.20 per litre equates to approx $4.55 per US gallon ........ much more than the $2.65 Grammalady pays in Sth Denver.

(A$1.20  is US$1.23 - the Aussie dollar is currently worth more than the US dollar.)

ahhhh... litre, gallon.... petrol, gas.... it's those pesky intercontinental differences again ay?  Get's you every time (unless you have a ute packed to the roof with EPO and snags, about to head off into the desert.  Those guys don't get tripped up with petrol related intricacies)

If our fuel was priced the same as Grammalady's, we would only be paying about 75c per litre

San Antonio is at $2.89 (or there abouts).  Where I live is a tad cheaper than in San Antonio, so in Natalia we might be at $2.79.
