Last call for the slackers ... !

Only a few hours left!

I'm off out this evening for an Indian (it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow) and I plan on getting a little squiffy, so won't check here again till whatever time I rouse myself from my slumber in the morning/afternoon.  I do solemnly swear that I will do my best to message people all the info they need before I go to bed tomorrow night.

Oh gosh, so I know I said (promised) I'd PM everybody their SS recipients by the time I went to bed today but I realised that the original post said that names would be drawn on 2nd November.  I'm just waiting for a response from okarol that it's okay for me to PM details (I've already drawn the names; Qyzen kitten joined in by stealing bits of paper!) to folk as I don't want to get a slap on the wrist.  It's nearly my bedtime now, so hopefully when I get in from work tomorrow I'll have the a-okay and will be able to PM you all.

Okay lovelies, names pulled, people being PM'd this evening. Keep an eye on your inbox!

I'll include the following in with the message but it's here too, so that you have no excuses for not following those annoying rules!

2012 Holiday Gift Exchange

Thank you for signing up for the IHD Holiday Gift Exchange. Here is a reminder of what you need to know:

--- You will not know who is sending you a gift. You will only know whom you are sending to (you can identify yourself in the package.)
--- Gift(s) value should be around $10.00-20.00, but no less than $10.00. (For other currencies please see the thread.)
--- Most people appreciate any gift, but if you’re unsure what to get research their posts!  Lots of people will have posted likes/dislikes on the 2012 thread which may help too!
--- You can wrap the gift or mark the outside of the box "Do not open until DEC 25!"
--- Gifts must be mailed out NO LATER THAN 23rd November, and sooner if you are sending overseas.
--- If you receive a package from overseas, try not to look at the customs label; it does tend to spoil the surprise!
--- If there is a reason you can no longer participate in the Gift Exchange, PM Poppylicious immediately so alternative arrangements can be made.
--- If you sign up for the exchange and fail to send a gift you will be banned from IHD for 90 days.

VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE PM Poppylicious when you send your gift AND again when you receive a package from your Secret Santa. Oh, and when you receive a package be sure to mention it here on the thread too so that your SS knows it's arrived! I have a list and I’ll be checking it twice.  If need be I think KitKatz will lend me her stick …

Let's get shopping!

Got mine. All I can say is, I had the perfect gift. But my daughter will not give up "her" cup. I guess teens can be that way. So I have to think about it. I'm sure I can figure out a good gift.

Here are a few ideas, but I am really not too fussy! I love Christmas and Christmas decorations. Anything from your part of the world is great!

My favourite colour is: Red
My favourite animals are: Birds
My favourite food is: Dark Chocolate and anything that contains sugar
Clothing wise I wear a size: XL
I collect: Dust
My favourite genre of book and/or film is: Very mixed. That's the too hard department.
I'm allergic to: Bath salts and some soaps
I'm not ungrateful but if I were to receive this/these I would probably cry: anything with a Cat on it! Unless Okarol is going to package up Woody for me  :-*
I REALLY LOVE: Anything you choose will be a wonderful surprise! I Love Christmas and our Secret Santa Tradition!!  :christmastree; :rudolph; :santahat;

I can't decide between tira mi sui or pavlova - so no desserts, please.

Also can't decide between cats, giraffes or llamas as favourite animal.

I like blues, greys and sparrow colours

Anything from wherever you live would be lovely.  I never cry at a surprise!

I am a delicate XL in size

Love textiles
