Renalwife -- I can visualze you shaking the box just like a lttle girl on Christmas morning.  It is a pretty visual.   You have so much joy and excitement and you make everyone around you happy, too.  :cuddle;

I received my gift yesterday - thank you for the beautiful bracelet and card!  I can't wait to go back to work to show off the bracelet - it will go so nicely with many of my outfits.   ;D

Am glad you liked it. *G*  I was going to get something for the doggie too, but I really wanted to get the package out before the deadline.  I still may send something. *G*

He is fighting to save his foot.  Has an infection that kept him in the hospital for 8 days.   He is now home and on antibiotics.  He neph would not allow a pic line or a central line so I am giving one antibiotic 2 hours into his dialysis treatment with a special cartridge and the other one I am doing a push into his venous needle before I pull it after the treatment is over.  He has to stay off his foot completely for 6 to 8 weeks so I found this really nifty knee wheel chair so he can get around the house and we are making the best of it.  Kinda draining us financially because the antibiotics are so costly, but were making the best of it.

I'm very sad to hear this. I'm surprised that insurance will not cover the antibiotics. When there was an issue with some of Carl's meds we were able to fight the decision not to cover (and win), because he is on anti-rejection drugs.

Thinking of you. (Enjoyed the article about you guys in the NxStage news).

Dear Secret Santa,

I came home from a brief spell in town to discover a parcel sitting on my kitchen counter!  Yay!  Thank you!  Am I right to assume that the 'Do Not Open Till 25th December' plastered all over the box means thing/s inside aren't wrapped?  It took all my willpower not to look at the customs note thingy!

Oh, and I'm very tempted to send you something in the new year simply because I want to reimburse you for the postage ... how much?!!  Yikes!  I'm starting to feel all Christmassy now.

Love, Poppy x

 ;D

(Vicki, sorry to hear about hubby.  Hope things improve.)

Oh..only 20 days to go....I still don't see that my recipient has acknowledged receipt of the gift I sent a couple of weeks ago...I sure hope so.  I have not received one yet but I just know any day it will arrive.  Mail sometimes is kinda slow out here in BFE  :rofl;   Or maybe my SS knows I would torment myself every day until Christmas looking at it so they are waiting to send it just in the nick of time.

There are 9 people who have not sent yet.  How can we ban the ADMIN and one of our Moderators??    :rofl;

Medicare does not become primary until July so we have to go through his prescription plan and it has a pretty high co-pay.

I dont think my reciever will know who sent theirs, because it got sent prematurely by my wonderful father, and I have no idea if he put anything on there about ihd! (my dad is super awesome to send that for me, but im a bit sad because i had another thing i wanted to send with it!) Unfortunately, it still has not arrived so its probably best he did send it when he did! Maybe it will come at some point before christmas? lol

I havent recieved mine yet but i did get theirs sent off! Just to keep u updated :)

My present is here! My present is here!  :yahoo; I came home from a quick trip downtown to find a HUGE package on my front porch. I opened it up to find a whole mess of presents, CHOCOLATE, and strict instructions with the promise of a mystery. There's even a present for Andy!

The chocolate went into the pockets of my advent calendar, though I can't imagine they'll stay there too long. The presents will go straight under the tree as soon as I get my act together and finish it. Eight hundred lights on a six-foot tree is no joke.

I must say, when you shake them they don't sound anything like what they look like.

I can say I got my gift.  It is in St Thomas (next door island) waiting for me.  At least I can't be tempted to open it.  Please don't ban me.  I need to go to St. thomas to post our gifts, but it will be rush so that the recipients will get them before Dec 25.
