I received my gifts a while ago and they look just beautiful. (From the outside - I've been good.) THANK YOU SECRET SANTA!!!!

The wait is killing me, but the kids are keeping me honest. I shall report back after the big day. :cheer: :cheer:

It's has officially been one month since I sent my gift, and there has been no word that it has been received.  Yes, it was sent overseas.  Yes, I still have the customs declaration and the receipt for postage paid at my local post office.  Does it really take this long for a package to travel abroad?  Should I be worried?

I posted a package overseas about 6 weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet.  Posted another gift to overseas about 4 weeks ago and that hasn't arrived yet either.  A couple of years ago I had a lady in Ireland.  I posted long before the deadline of Nov. 21 and it didn't arrive until Feb!!!

Oh, that's just great. ::)  Well, there's still a few weeks to go, so I won't worry just yet.  Thanks for letting me know, del!  I hope my recipient gets his/her gift before February!  Good lord!

So sorry that I haven't updated! We received both of our packages earlier this week but I was getting ready for my surgery and didn't have time to post. Jim's said not to open until Christmas so we assume it is not wrapped inside; mind doesn't saw that but I didn't open it yet just to be sure. I love the suspense of waiting! Jim has shaken and squeezed his! Lol! He is such a kid when it comes to Christmas morning! I love to "drag" it out because it drives him crazy! I lay in bed as long as I can, then I have to have coffee (which I stretch out as long as possible). One year, I managed to drag it out until 1:00 pm! Haven't even come close since then!    :rofl;   Thank you, Secret Santas!

I had an overseas packsge to send out also...got delayed due to hospital for 18 days , Went to UPS they were closed on Black Fridak ,  Fed Ex wanted 237.00 due to jet fuel (told them I disdnt need a seat just  a small area
for it to go in .  Went to USPS and it was 37.00 in the box it was in. If it could fit in 1 box smaller it could be 27.00 . After pricing the box and the trip home to repack . I left it in the original box.
Heard from the recippient that it was received about 9 days (or so) after posted .  That was from the
US east coast (we have the worst mail substaion in the country according to USPS report) ane it was going to
the beautiful Emeral Isle.
Maybe just pure luck it was received or the 10 million dollar insurance policy I put on it.lol :shy;

  :waving;   Ok I am so so sorry but I received my secret Santa around ten days ago and it is sitting under my tree! I have been so busy that I haven't even shook or poked it! My sister had a transplant last week in a paired exchange, so my brother in law is in the hospital too. It's amazing that I haven't had a go at it!

I have also posted my package, so it should arrive soon. Sorry Rerun for having to chase me!

Merry Christmas to Wattle's sister!!

OK, I'm a happy elf because my gift has been received AND my prezzie from my Secret Santa arrived today!  I know that this is a very busy time for all Secret Santas, and I know that mine probably has lots of family obligations and other stuff going on.  Not only that, but all kinds of weird things happen at this time of year that can put Secret Santas out of commission for a while.  So I am very grateful, SS, that you took the time and made the effort to send me a gift.  Thank you so much, and may you have a wonderful holiday season. :cuddle;  Thank you!

I got mine today too!  It came in a great big box. *L*

She must have written the Customs tag in pencil, cuz I couldn't read it, but my mom could. *L*  I think she'll keep quiet.  She did open the box, while I stayed around the corner, to see if it was wrapped, and it was.   Six brightly wrapped packages, which are now sitting under the tree.
