I have a couple of theories here.
1. The frogs just did those dodos. Doubtful but really gives you an image in your head. Ouch!
2. The frogs were eaten whole and are indigestible by whatever ate them and came out with the dodo. Hmm, again doubtful.
3. They were cold and that was the warmest thing around to sit on.
4. They were really old frogs, almost as old as Dan and they thought they were sitting on a wood log.
Not a theory but I really question there sense of smell.

Oh I see!  You think the frogs did it themselves, thinking they just had a bad case or irritating Hemoroids?

I completely disagree with your theories, Marc.

1. No where in the book of Frog does it state that frogs even do dodos. It cannot be true that they did these no matter what the physical evidence.
2. Frogs did not evolve to be eaten by any other animal. It says in the book of Frog that they were created to eat flies, not be eaten.
3. In Tadpole 3:7 it states, "And the warmth of Frog is eternal." so frogs do not get cold.
4. Vernal pool 7:16 reveals that, "The eye of Frog is perfect." Therefore they could not have mistaken the dodo for a log.

Furthermore, I am very sad to have to tell you that if you do not accept every word of the Book of Frog, you will be eternally condemned to sit on dog dodo. And just in case you have a different interpretation of the Book of Frog, my interpretation is the only one that is correct. As proof I offer a survey from Frog and Toad Weekly that says that 72% of all amphibians believe that the Book of Frog is the final word. They said it. I believe it. End of argument.

I am going to have to tell you that your faith in the book of Frog is somewhat naive.  How can all the stories in the book of Frog be true? Come on.
Archeologists have unearthed early frog with petrified extremely large frog excrement in the same vicinity.  They also found traces of frog in the bellies of numerous fossils.
You truly cannot believe that Frog is infallible?  :urcrazy;

The theory is that creativity would never flourish without the words of a good instigator.  Give credit where it is due.

Dear Aleta,
You insult me with your assertion that the book of Tadpole is the one and only authority.  I once ate a frog when I was a baby therefore my experience with frogs should be given more respect.

Dear Marc,
I reject your statement about frogs living in the bellies of sea creatures such as the whale.  Only Johan could be regurgitated by a whale.

 Dear Rob,
If you are afraid to discuss frogism then maybe you should just stop.

Dear Rerun,
It's addictive.  We just can't help continuing our discussion on the  evolution of dung sitting amphibians.

Thank you all for a good discussion.

God bless Ribbit everyone.

Ah me, ah my, had you all just read the words of Tyefly you would know and accept her description that the frog wuz there for the flies.  Now, as for the colour changing magic bit where the frog becomes one with the doo, well that's just plain miraculous.

Monrien,

I am insulted that you imply some kind of Buddhist zen thingy here. Surely you should take this debate more seriously.

Yes, of course it was a miracle that the frog changed color. The Frog IS a miracle.

Rerun, I am worried about you. You have stated that it isn't happening. I know that those who don't believe will have to sit on dung for all eternity. The Frog will not take your lack of faith kindly even though it is a loving Frog.

Off topic again, but briefly.  If a frog pees on you will you really get a wart?

No Monrein - you are wrong.  I believe the original intent of the word of frog was that the frog was on a dodo - it's just people have interprerted the word to mean dodo.

Thank heaven and earth that we are here to explain the truth of the thing to you.  You're very welcome.

You do not understand.  Albert Einstein published an extensive pamphlet on the proper interpretation of the Book of Frog (before anyone casts aspersions, yes, I do realize that the original manuscript was written on a matchbook cover, but they were very large matches).  The frog is a metaphor for the elemental froggy parts of our personality.  It is not to be taken literally.

When it is said that the frog sits on the doodoo, this refers to our period of contemplation when engaged in bodily functions.  So the Frog on the DooDoo actually refers to the deepest moments of human thought.  And lots of grunting.

So to say that the frog is on the doodoo, is to actually say that more thought is required of you on the topic, for clearly you have not yet accepted the correct interpretation.

When you read the Book of Frog while minding Einstein's guidance, you will see the truth.

And then you will agree with me.

If you continue to harden your heart against the truth, an eternity of eating flies awaits you.

You have not understood me. It is an eternity of sitting on cr*p, not eating flies. Not only do you fail to agree with me, but you don't even read all of the previous post that I copied for you.

I'm tired of these insults. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm not going to point it out to you.

Thank you ever so much Bern for pointing out the error of my interpretation.  I THOUGHT I saw a frog on dodo (in the modern sense) but now that you have shown me the eye witness proof of frog sitting on top of  'a' dodo I shall pass that correction along to others whose eyes might have deceived them also.

It's only a frog until the End of the World. The chapter on revelations in the Book of the Frog predicts that a prince will kiss the frog...

In the meantime, Albert Einstein, the frogly Bishop will give you a fiber biscuit and let you sip some Holy Laxative to maintain the pile of dodo.
