Dear Members,

I am just letting everyone know that I will be leaving to go to training for driving truck this weekend for 16 days. If I pass the physical i will then be with a trainer over the road for 90 days. During this time I may not be on-line as much if at all.  Once I get my own truck and a laptop that I can take on the road with me, it will be business as normal. I drove truck for 8 years but have been off the road since 1995 so I need to be retrained. This is a necessary move on my part for many reasons and I do hope I can meet the D.O.T physical requirements. Please know that Okarol will still be around so this is not a time to slack off and break Epomans rules.   :rofl;  I will check in as often as I can but I really need to focus on the training in hopes I get my own truck sooner than later. IHD will always be a priority to me and you all are close to my heart. If the physical does not work out then I guess I will be back on-line next week. Wish me luck.

Remember: Post often and Love eachother.

I do wish you luck Sluff and lots of it.  I know you'll do great once the physical part is out of the way and I promise to behave, to not break too many rules and I look forward to "seeing" you back here all re-qualified to drive truck.   :cuddle;

I really hope all goes well, you're such a great guy, always giving your time up for us, I will behave for you - I promise.

I wish you all the very best and hope that we don't hear anything for 106 days so we know it has all gone fine.

We love you Sluff!  Now, dear members, don't think that because the cat is away the mice can play!!  Okarol is watching you and Kitkatz has a very big stick!  (is anyone scared now?)

Check in when you can so we know you are safe. There are lots of mother hens here who will be worried.  Take care   :cuddle;

Sluffernutter,

This is not 8 years ago. IHD has happened to you since then. I am thinking of this as a "meet and greet" with IHDers EVERYWHERE!!!

As you know, we live in Tampa Florida with easy access to I-75, I-275 and I-4. We are looking forward to sharing a dinner (or lunch, or breakfast) with you.

We'll need to institute a map "Where in the world is the Sluffernutter?" Any idea what kind of routes you'll run?

The "Taj Mahal" of trucker weigh stations is located on I-4 just east of I-75, brand new and so dubbed by the FDOT enforcement officers for its trucker facilities.
