I spoke to Sluff for a little while tonight. Man, his trucking school sounds like a cross between boot camp and being smuggled across state lines by a coyote (in other words, it's tough and he's been moved around a lot.) I admire his determination because it's gotta be hard to be away from home for so long. He said to tell everyone hello. He is in Salt Lake City tonight and will actually get to sleep in a motel (a REAL bed) instead of the truck cab (it has 2 bunks, one for his trainer too.) He sounds in good spirits despite the fatigue and will check in here when he can. He misses all of you.

That's cool that he called. A nice bed is always better than a confined space along with a good shower.

I can't begin to tell you all how much I miss being on IHD. It has been a long time but never fear because as soon as I can I will be back to harass you all and keep you all n line. I am in Toledo Ohio this morning and headed to Center Colorado for Monday delivery. I had a chance to see Mrs. Sluff for about 15 minutes last night in Youngstown Ohio, where she is in training for her new job. It was good to see her, but I think she is tired of trying to keep everything together on the homefront. It is tough and I think sometimes you never realize what your spouse all does when they are around everyday until they are not there to do it and you have to pick up the slack when they are away. Sometimes a good reality check but none the less alot of responsibility for one person. Anywho ,I am doing well and expect to have my own truck around the end of October then I'm going home for a couple days and settle some business matters and see my wife and Dog, Brother and Motorcycle in that order. I had a chance to check in but not much time to read anything so I hope you all are well. I hope JBeany is doing well and anyone else who may have had any problems lately. Everyone hang in there and thank you for your membership and your continued posting. That is what makes IHD number 1. Thank you Karol and the Mods for keeping it all together.
Love you all,
Sluff
