Hey, Del.
I teach in a Montessori classroom, 1st through 5th in one room. I love it. I have a slew of 2nd grade students. They are such a lovely age.

Aleta, what exactly is a Montessori school? I've heard of them all over the place (I've lived in Maryland, DC, New York, Illinois and Ohio and have heard of them everywhere I've lived). Sorry about going off topic!

My daily positive is that We have tons of tulips blooming so I cut a bunch and now have a lovely vase full of them in my living room! I love fresh flowers!! Now if only I could get my husband to actually give me some once in a while! I;ve never gotten flowers from anybody!!   :(

I did not go to an ARD today or had case manager's list due or had bus duty or had to write a referral on some student with a can of snuff or a gun

  I just talked to my dad and he has lost 40 lbs sense he started D.  So he is super excited.  Its always good to see my dad happy nowdays.

Really, though, I know what an accomplishment it is so... :yahoo;   :yahoo;

My positive today is that we practiced the May Pole Dance for the first time today and the kids were GREAT!!!

My Eight Year Old Granddaughter called me Tonight from 500 Miles away and Played Her first Violin Song over the Phone for me --- Mary Had A Little Lamb. Send Me Your Phone Number and I will have Her Call You and Play it too!!! LOL.

Thanks Aleta! The Montessori method does sound really cool. I was reading the blog too and found that really interesting.

My positive for the day--Because I've been having weird bp issues at dialysis lately, I wanted to try a profile today that would draw a  bunch of fluid, then draw none, and repeat this for the 3 hours so my fluid would have a chance to get into my bloodstream. Well, I ended up in a section I've never been inn before, with a nurse I've never had. And she kept trying to tell me that the profile I chose wasn't a good idea and I should stick to the one I had been using. I am happy to report that I stood my ground and used the profile I wanted! And my session went smoothly for the first time in several weeks! Yay!!! I hate when the nurses argue with me.   :boxing;

I live in a beautiful part of the world kids can go outdoors and play without worries of them being abducted or hurt!!  Crime rate is very low!!!

My positive is that I have the support of my family.  My wife is trying to get a new job so she can be home every night, that would help because I've had quite a few high and low BP issues.

Today was a beautiful day, I actually got some sleep last night (12 pm - 11 am!!!) and the all-natural strawberry fruit bar things at Target were on sale today!! I bought 4 boxes. Yummm! And they'll be gone by the end of the weekend.  >:D
