My potassium is back in normal range while on Thursday last week it was elevated.  I cut back on potassium foods and am delighted to escape the possibility of Kayexalate.

After being in the blue zone yesterday, today was Carl's birthday. We had a supply delivery and back to his normal wit he said, "Hey, we got all those gift boxes for my birthday!"

The kids at school call the UPS truck the gift truck.  :rofl;

It is good to be laughing again.

Today's positives

Down another pound - whooo hooo, the energizer bunny of weight loss is still going!

Dinner out at a friend's house - she's a fabulous cook.

It was boiling hot during my workout, so I sweated off a ton of fluid.  (I put it back on at dinner, but at least I broke even on today's liter!)

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #911 on: August 13, 2009, 05:42:49 AM »

As of yesterday morning there is a new baby boy in my family.  Big deal, huh?  It is for us since we have such a small family and since there are no Crawford boys at all, even this one.  The last was my brother, Ricky, over 57 years ago.

My little brothers' grandsaon.... his name is Ricky...(not Richard) the same as my brother.  I can't spell his last name.  Just try to say something Chezk.... and you'll be as close as I can get.

Yea, it is pretty exciting but he's not really a CRAWFORD.  He is Ricky Chojnacki... not even close.They could have made his second name Crawford at least.

True, but I can't even pronounce his name... lol.  Truly, I wish they had name him Daniel (Not for me but for my father) as the three year old is Olivia for my Mother (Our mother and father).  Wouldn't that have been cool.

Can't wait to get out  there this weekend to see him.

I had a friend like that - if you wanted to spell his name, it started with A, ended with Z, and there was the rest of the alphabet in a jumble in the middle. . ..

Even though we had to start Carl's treatment over again tonight, I figured out how to do it without having to stick him again. And when I called NxStage (after making the decision about what to do) the tech support verified that I had done the right thing. Really boosted my confidence. And the Boo-Boo was all Carl's fault. He even admitted it! LOL!

 :rofl;

Bad part - it's going to be a late, late night!
