Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #725 on: June 25, 2009, 05:53:02 AM »

It is all relative what we find good about a day, isn't it Skywalker.

This morning my Air conditioner cut off at 3 AM and it is still only 81 degrees outsidde.  I'm going for a walk first time in weeks.

crawford -- yesterday Houston was 104
does your air need to be fixed and did it come back on
today will be another hottie
but channel 11 said we might get rain this afternoon
Conroe is on a water ban
River Plantation is not ---- we are on different water but we are next    our yard looks like hay

if you have no air --- fill your tub with ice cubes and sit on it

No, no no.  It went off because it finallly cooled down enough to cut off.  It came back on an hour or so ago.  It has been running night and day.  I'm afraid it's going to burn out or else Reliant Energy will cut off my power when I can't pay for it....

Just one story and one AC but it is new.  Replaced the whole system last fall with larger one -- supposed to be Energy Efficient.  Was 200 last month and barely ran AC...Scared to death this time.  Do you think IHD community would send donations to cover it?????

What? They don't serve Dunkin Donuts Coffee in the hospital?

You be careful today, Cherpep. Don't over-do it. (As if your hubby hasn't told you!)

My positive: It's another day. Anything could happen, and it has to be better than the "everything that can go wrong will go wrong" day I had yesterday.  :2thumbsup;

I have a chest cough/infection, but I don't feel sick.  Just cough like an old man occasionally.  The rest of me feels fine.  Yay.

You can't remember that you are crazy?

Morning Mandy... half through, huh?  Don't let the kiddos get in the paint.

Morning Positive:  It is the weekend and i have nothing schedule.  I see it as an open time to goof off or do something constructive and I don't really have to decide right now.

Basically I made my living first with music the teaching high school drops out and then teaching computer software and doing  computer expos (didn't get rich, but not a bad living).  I can truthfully say I've never had a real job.  (At least one that was not fun.)  Dialysis is one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do.  Pretty lucky, I'd say.

I weeded flower beds today.  The 5 on the front of the house are almost finished. I just have 2 more to do on the side and back of the house.

I wish I could make a living just by playing too!!!
