Wow! Del.
You really got a short week with your snow day yesterday. I'm jealous. But then, we only have 2 more weeks until school is out for the summer!
That is surely a positive!!!

WillowTree, you must be in the same area of the country as I am. We also only have two more weeks of school.
My daily positive though, is that I got out of work early today, got my hair cut and colored and spent two hours browsing in Old Time Pottery. Fun, relaxing afternoon.

I'm in TN.
And to add to my positive, I realized that one of the weekends is a long one. Woo Hoo!
I love teaching, but right now I'm feeling t..i..r..e..d!!! I'll be ready for the kids again in August. I teach adults in the summer and that is a great change of pace, but after a few weeks of adults I'm ready to get back to kids. I can take kids a whole lot longer than adults!

The field trip was great. As far as I know there were no problems.

Having a little trouble with positives this week.
This will have to do - the smell of fresh, clean air coming in my window after a short rain shower.

Saw 3 different doctors today I'd been missing since dialysis. One -- fairly good news, one -- good news -- one bad news. Knowing how I think I'll soon be dwell on the bad one but for now, my one positive is that my fistala is perfect according to the surgeon. In five weeks, if all goes as planned, we'll start using it. Two weeks after than he'll removed the cather (again if all goes well).
Now I need an outlet for the bad news.

I had my 5 and 3 yr old grandsons (Jack and AJ) with me for the day. We spent a lot of time outside bird watching, swinging, blowing bubbles. It is hard not to have a good day when you are with them.

I realized today that my husband, my son and I will all be home together the entire three days of Memorial Day weekend. No work, scouts, sports, or on call duty for three days! Hubby's been working nights, so we've barely seen him. I'm so excited!!
