Then thank you again, Dan. Like I said, it is what is inside that matters, and no matter what your outside is like, you are beautiful on the inside.

Well, my positive is that I had a long swim both yesterday and today and I may have broken through my weight loss plateau. We have a book club discussion in a little bit followed by dinner out with friends.
LOL! I better watch what I eat!

Kathy, I've been on this site since March and people have been bugging me about a picture. I promised one last night in chat... it was late and I was weak.
I hate pictures of myself.

Today's daily positive is that things are much different from one year ago today -- the being the one year anniversary of Hurricane Ike.
What a year! Ike and dialysis! But things are looking up! Little construction here, little treatment there.

My second day back at the gym and am amazed how much easier everything is than while my transplant was failing. Feels great also to reconnect with my fellow gym rats whom I'm used to seeing almost every day.

Just came home from dialysis where I had a nice lesson on the machine and what all the lights and doodads mean.

Went to school for a visit from an opera singer, had morning tea, went shopping, back to school for production run through, more shopping, made a neck thing for Joseph (production) to wear, more shopping, home and still have energy left. This is a minor miracle!!

I haven't been posting much lately. I'm back to work and this is the first full week. It has been hectic but good. I have an excellent class of 12 grade 2's. One of those is severely developmentally delayed and has his own teacher and student assistant so really I have 11 students to class. Smallest class I have ever had. They are exceptionally well behaved and excellent workers. been getting lots of teaching done and everything corrected as we do it!! No work has had to come home so far!!
