Hey, it is the dumb bird here with jetlag so pay no attention.  I haven't participated in a secret santa before.  Do we send the pressie from a secret admirer or are we allowed to let the cat out of the bag and say who sent it?

I wanted to echo the sentiments of everyone and thank Carol for putting this together!!  I am very excited about the prospect of getting out to find "just the right" gift for my secret person.

As I do research on my secret person, I'm finding there are almost no clues as to what this person likes or dislikes.  Hmmmmm.......  Hoping they'll help me out here!!

So, that my Secret Santa isn't scratching his/her head:

I'm a size 2x, but I like things LOOSE!!  (So, 3 or 4X is great!!)
I'm allergic to scented lotions, bubble bath, candles.
I'm losing dialysis access places and on a big time diet so that hopefully pd will be an option in the future.

Other than that, I love anything regional!
I'm really into sports: Appalachian State University, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Braves are my favs.
I am very active with Alpha Phi Omega.

I was soooo excited last night!!  I woke up at 2:49 and didn't go back to sleep until after 5:16!! (last time I looked @ the clock!!)  Hoping I can find something great!!

Thanks again, Carol!!

I like anything at all.  I love reading, gardening, body lotions or soaps (natural organic types with not too much strong scent), scarves, regional stuff, bead bracelets, and whatever you'd care to send me will be perfect.

Send it marked from your IHD Secret Santa. Clearly on each side in magic marker.

Whoever has me, I'm good with anything. The fun thing for me is going to be just getting a package and hopefully a little note. I'm diabetic so no candy.. or not too much anyway.. I'll eat it of course! That seems to be the problem lately with my blood sugar - no self control when it comes to chocolate. Scented stuff is great, especially citrusy stuff - just no florals or heavy stuff.

Sluff - I don't have any "magic" markers - just plain old run of the mill markers.  But I'll go today to try and find the magic ones you speak of.

Whoever has me....I am going to be no help at all but if it has to come the distance....and I imagine it might be coming from the other side of the world, something very small will be absolutely fine with me.  I would be really happy with a card and a photo of my secret santa with their favourite thing.  If that is an animal....all the better but I will still take Sluff on his bike of Flip in his Porsche...you get the picture.  I have a family and friends picture wall in my billiards room and it would be nice to include my secret santa. xxx

Please do Sandyb otherwise the package won't be shipped properly, if they are not magic markers it will cost 3 times more to ship. I'm not sure why, it just does.

Walmart carries Magic Markers.  Heheheheheh! Be careful though, they are under the disguise of regular markers!

I am soooo excited to start shopping... I will be looking for the perfect gift...

Remember, if you haven't put your likes and dislikes, please do so ASAP.  I have been reading my SS's post and don't really have a clue of what they would like.  Please list favorite colors, foods... sizes of clothing, etc....

My likes are anything DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!

I love candles.. anything sweet smelling... I am not crazy about floral fragrences and cinnamon or apple
I love coffee
I am diabetic, so no sweets please.
I like my clothing big and loose on me so I like XXL
My favorite clothing store right now is CATO's
Anything  local to your area would be fun!!!

Thank you Okarol for all your hard work!!! :flower;

I've already started my shopping. But to the poor Santa that got me, well, I'm so easy to please.

My favorite color is Blue, I love candles, I love my shirts long and loose XXL (I haven't wore a bra in over 7 years), I love quilting, miniatures, Yorke's, cross stitching and cooking. I am pre-diabetic but it doesn't stop me from having my dark chocolate.  :rofl; Anything from your region would be loved.

okarol, you are such a doll for doing this.  :yahoo; I'm going to finish all my shopping on Tuesday. I have my Christmas cards done already. Len thinks I have lost my mind.  :urcrazy;

You secret santas might try this link to see if you can find out anything.

hey, I took a look and now I know that Boxman has good taste in music :)

Personally, I would love to get a glimpse of someone else's part of the country or the planet through local items.  A picture of my SS would be fantastic, because that would go on my fridge where it would remind me every day of the IHD family.

I also love dark chocolate and martinis (but you can't send those through the mail...)

I am so happy to be included in the Secret Santa for the first time.  I already know what i am getting for mine.
As for me, I am a make-up junkie, esp. lipgloss and eyeshadows.  But i am not picky.  If my Santa wants to send something from where they are, that would be just fine with me.
