  :christmastree; 2008 Holiday Gift Exchange   :christmastree;

Attention: Members with less than 50 posts must be approved before you are allowed to participate.

Here are the details:

--- This is a "Secret Santa" type of exchange.  I will randomly draw names to assign people. You will not know who is sending you a gift. You will only know who you are sending to (you can identify yourself in the package.)

--- Gift(s) value should be around $10.00-20.00, but no less than $10.00 (USD - sorry don't know the exchanges for different currency).  As far as what the gift should be, that's up to you.    You may want to research your person's posts to try to get an idea of what they may like.

--- You must sign up by PM'ing your info NO LATER THAN October 20th. To be included on the Holiday Exchange list you must send me your snail mail address.

--- Names will be drawn and announced (by PM) on November 1st.

--- Gifts must be mailed out NO LATER THAN November 21st, and sooner if you are sending overseas.

If you want to participate, please PM okarol your info.  We will have copies of all the mailing addresses, and of course whoever is sending you a gift will have your address, but it will not be posted publicly.

Please use this format in the PM:
   Screen name
   Real name (first and last)
   Complete mailing address
   If you are willing to sending a gift overseas (it may cost a little extra for shipping)
   Outside of the US must have a phone number.

We will post a final list of who is participating as we receive the information.

If you sign up for the exchange and fail to send a gift you will be banned from IHD for 90 days.

If you have any questions, please post in this thread or PM okarol.

                    :snowman;

I want WAW as my secret Santa  :-* ...Boxman

I am a big fan of regional sweatshirt with hood XL something with your hometown or state on it. Or longsleeve t-shirt XL same way also a few candies would be nice too, oh and maybe an all expense paid trip to somewhere warm would also work for me  ;D...Boxman

Oh yeah, that worked well last year.

Post here if you want to help your Secret Santa pick out a gift, or if you're open to anything, you could post that too. (Well, maybe not ANYTHING...)  :secret; heheh ;D

I loved the idea of giving regional stuff last year too. That made it fun!

I am sooo in, it ain't even funny!  I cannot wait. I love my IHD Christmas BOX every year!

I want anyone and will take anyone as my secret pal. Just ask the people who got pressies last year from me.  Heheheheh!

My interests:
I love boxes. Pretty boxes, unusual boxes, boxes of unusual shapes and sizes.
I like pretty light houses.
My house does not have a color scheme, although my favorite color is purple.
I have a tiny Christmas tree so small ornaments are cool. :christmastree;
I wear royal colors.
My size is (Oh God do I have to admit this?)  XX-large.  :santahat;
I like pretty things.
I have a small collection of angels.
I like jewelry- necklaces- pretty baubles.  :rudolph;
I love dark chocolate!

Please no perfume, cologne, bath soaps or lotions. I am allergic to just about everything scented that out there.

I hope this helps whomever is out there.  :popcorn; :popcorn;

Whoo hoo! I'm in! I can't wait to go shopping for someone!!!!!!!!!!

My likes:

I'm open to anything, but if this helps, My life seems to revolve around cats, dogs, & gardening / yard work. If I'm not catering to the critters needs or walking the dogs, I'm probably out digging in my garden. I'm supposed to be on a potassium-restricted diet, but ..... um...... well...... I'll be good before I have my labs done anyway!

I guess the big think for me would be nothing scented please!!  I am on a weight loss plan ( 36 lbs gone so far!!!) so no chocolate or candy pleeeease!!  I like most things.  very easy to please. I like scrapbooking, card making, gardening, reading.  Something from your area would be really nice.  I got an aussie tshirt from a one secret santa ( another site) last year and a really nice glass palm tree ornament from my secret santa on here who was from somewhere on the gulf coast!!

I am so excited...have always loved secret santa stuff...by the way twirl...I sometimes send a cookie or more and just put them in between bubblewrap or cover them and put between stryo peanuts and they are ok.
I like unusual things...on the large side...brooches, ink pens, any type of angels, fluffy comfy 2X pullovers (like fleece with seasonal designs), tall slouch socks..love those as my toes are always cold, bright jewel tone colors, and just about anything.  If I get something from a real person who I know thought about the gift..it is all good.
