Hi,
I am not even sure I am doing this the right way, but was so glad to find this website.  I am the mother of 19 year old young man on home hemodialysis using NxStage and PureFlow.  Marcus has had 3 transplants, all have failed.  He is doing well on the NxStage.  There are days that I want to throw it all out the window and then use a hammer on it....but it is one way I can keep working and keep health insurance for him.  Looking forward to seeing comments from others.

Welcome, Mom of Marcus!  My husband is on NxStage and PureFlow, too.  Glad you found us!

 :welcomesign; You have found a great source of support and information.  This site has helped me more than I can say the past two years.   It sounds like Marcus has had a rough time and I am sure it has been hard as his mother to watch him go through so much.  We are here for both of you. Looking forward to learning more about Marcus and you. :grouphug;

Hi Mom of Marcus, Welcome to ihatedialysis.com.  I am not on NxStage but i am on PD.  I know the feeling about the frustrations of "the machine" lol, but i have to admit it beats going in-center :)  I hope to hear from you (and hopefully Marcus too).  :waving;  Take care and remember, you are not alone, we are here for you too.   :grouphug;

Welcome Mom of Marcus.  Life can be hard when it is your child you have to help through illness. It take plenty of courage!
