Chat doesn't seem to get used very much but it is fun when there are people in there.

Wait Twirl, are you sure?  I've spent an entire career studying slimy sea creatures!  I have kind of a special place in my heart for your avatar.

I wanted to be an oceanographer but mastered in education instead
should have followed my dreams
now I love spongebob
closest I will ever get
what a wonderful career  you had or may still have
I taught some pretty slimy high school creatures
I have to know, do you eat snails

with gusto!  escargot with lots of garlic, conch with lime, as well as all the snail relatives - calamari, octopus, clams, oysters, mussels. Had grilled octopus on a stick once in Korea!  I will try almost anything at least once -- I ate my first live comb jelly a couple of weeks ago.  Do you know what they are?  Not as slimy as they look.  A little salty and with a tang.  But, still, I have the utmost respect for your choice of avatar.  One day, very recently, I saw the spongebob show on tv someplace for the very first time.  I saw you go by on the screen and I thought to myself "that was Twirl!!!!"  I had to go on line to find out more about your character. After all that, and my fond feelings for your avatar, I am hoping that you do not change.

I do not think Twirl should change.  She is quirky in a very endearing way and so is her avatar.

If I remember right, she actually used to be a twirler. Her avatar should be a majorette, preferably a real photo.
