Montgomery Police said a man stole pain medicine from a patient's IV tube inside Bethesda North Hospital for his own use. It's a story you saw first on 9 News.
Thirty-six-year-old Patrick Cox of Trenton is facing one felony count of theft.
It's alleged that this past Saturday morning, Cox removed the medicine from the tube using a syringe.
Cox was arrested Monday afternoon at his job in Blue Ash.
Cox works at DaVita, which provides dialysis services for those diagnosed with chronic kidney failure according to the company's website.
It is not clear whether Cox was working in that medical capacity during the alleged incident at Bethesda North.
Cox was released from jail after a $1,000 cash bond was posted.
