I have a problem with diarrhea and all the tects know that so I usually get off one time during treatment
I asked my tect at 6:45am to go and she told me she had a patient to get on a machine
at 7:15 she was still ignoring me and acting busy
I took off my Bp cuff and asked if I needed to do the emergency thing where you clamp your own lines
but I am always real nice and never ask for anything but one ice and one restroom visit
this tect does not like to bring ice and get your television or anything else
I almost had an accident :shy;
should I ask dialysis people if I have to go and my tect can't help can someone else
I am very nice and never complain but one other time I almost :puke; on myself because this tect took so long to get me a container to :puke; in and she is the one who would have had to clean it up
does anyone have this problem?

twirl, most centers don't like to take patients off during treatment, it takes them more time and and God forbit they would have to stay pass quitting time. I can be a Bi---.

Twirl tell them if they don't take you off and let you go you will do it in the chair. Guess who is going to have a mess to clean up then!!!  Ask them what would they rather take you off or have a mess to clean up.  It would be embarrassing for you though and it shouldn't be.

I am a real quite type person I hate to bother anyone if they are busy, being the new kid on the block I just try to watch and learn. One afternoon after my session was about over the girl pulled my needles and I held pessure,  and she went to help other patients. Well several minutes past I set up in my chair tried to catch someones attention, it wasn.t happening, the elderly lady next to me say son do you need some help I said no they will get to me when they can, she whips  out a whistle and blows here came two techs running an ask Emma what is wrong she looks toward me and said he need some help? I love that lady! :clap; :2thumbsup;

start with the clinic director and if the problem isn't solved move on to that persons boss. in my clinic if you ask for something you might have to wait a few minutes, but you are never ignored. there is one lady who needs to be taken off each treatment to use the restroom and she can't walk.

There is only one tech at my clinic that is like that.  I just tell him what I need and if he tries to put me off I tell him no, I need it now.  If I have any problems, I tell my nephrologist.  It seems like they are scared to death of him.

I love my nephrologist.... he is all about the patients.
