A moderator (in IHD) is one who helps the administration in the running of a forum.  A moderator is one who checks posts to see that they follow the rules of the forum, acts as a go-between when there is any kind of confrontation, and generally looks after the life of the forum.

Spam is unwanted and unsolicited communication - like people sending out bulk emails about lengthening your penis, etc.  So a spammer is one who sends out unwanted and unsolicited communication.

These are my definitions, anyway.

On finding someone to chat with.  When I want to chat on IHD and no one is in the chatroom, I check to see which members are online, and I send them a PM asking them to join me.

Spam or a spammer is just rubbish as a rule. As mentioned before , this is not really a chat room its a 'Forum' .Because we are all on line at different times around the world its difficult to meet up in the chatroom!

I find if I post a chat notice in the chat forum area and then go to the chat room and wait while I read the forum, people show up.

Also I find the hours between 8 and 9 p.m.. Pacific time are great times for chat.

Also you can set up a chat time. PM  a few people and ask them to come to chat at a certain time.   If I am on line I am always willing to come and chat for a few minutes.  Just PM away at me.

Go in chat by yourself and someone will usually join you. I went in the other night when there was one member there and next thing you know there was 6-8 people there. Don't forget the timezones. The other night you were in by yourself and I was going to log in but I needed to get to bed.
