Hi everyone. My husband has been on dialysis for nearly 5 years. It has been an uphill battle.  :-[ I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. I would like to thank Epoman for inviting me over.

There isn't anything at the moment that I can think of that I need to know, but if I ever do I will definitely ask you. I just wanted a place where I could come to vent frustrations, share happy times, complain about how bad dialysis sucks, and maybe gain some wisdom along the way. This seems like the place to do all of that.

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome, I'm glad you joined. I love your post because that is exactly what this site is all about. Feel free to vent any frustrations you may have about dialysis and talk about any other thing you may want to talk about even if it's not dialysis related, that is why I put a Off-Topic section.
I hope you come to this site often to help us make it grow. Tell people you know who are also on dialysis, spread the word. Again welcome to the site.

Hi toad, welcome. I hope you post often to help us get this place going. We are new so we need people to post regularly.

Also can you make a new topic in the "introduce yourself'" section to introduce yourself instead of replying to this persons introduction. You deserve your own thread :) Once you make a new thread I will reply to that thread as well.

Thanks.

Hello. It's not very often you hear from a spouse(care giver).I am on dialysis myself however my wife is 34 and very healthy.I have a hard time thinking of my spouse, and her losses,I just can't seem to see beyond me and my disease. As the sun sets each day I thank my lucky stars that she has decided to stick by me.Some days she is all I have to continue.I hope your husband realizes your losses to.Sincerly 6yr Vet.
