Yes it is a great help but look at who started it !!!!!   My question to the administrators is why some people would be banned.  This is supposed to be an open forum.  We may not a agree on things but I think that there should be an explanation when the steps are taken.

Okarol or Goofynina or Sluff.  We saw the message from George Jung and it seems that he was upset with the statement "But like you said I am an Administrator and can make such decisions."   Many of us have paid to be member of this site so should we not be involved in the decision or should it not at least be told why.

Is there a written policy so that everyone is treated equal?  Maybe we should vote or maybe we should invite these people back.

Those of us who paid, paid for Premium Membership.  It is free to be a member.

Epoman has guidelines that the current admin team seem to following.  I, for one, am very proud of what he has left us and how the team is carrying on his work.

Yes , but what are the guidelines ?   You can't just throw someone in jail without a reason.  I think that if someone is ever forbidden to post on this forum a reason should be given that is referencing a specific rule not just  "I'm the administrator and I can do what I want"  Could the administrators please answer.  Thanks

If all I had to do was pay $60.00 and be given the right to make such decisions, why do I and the other Administrators put in countless hours Daily reading posts, checking IP's and monitoring posts, re-sizing pictures, and fixing errors.

I can personally guarantee you if it weren't for Admins and Moderators this site would be lost to the spam war. Administrators of any site will tell you growth is imperative to keeping a site healthy, so with that said, I would not ban a member without proper cause.

The decision to ban a member rests on the owner of a site and those entrusted with that responsibility. There is no written rules of engagement on a privately owned site, and we do not ask permission especially when someone has accessed this site under false pretenses after being banned once already.

The statement throwing someone in jail without a reason is a good example, you believe there was no reason because you are not the one that spent almost a month monitoring that persons IP address, did you realize it was actually Mitchorganbroker? Did you realize that Mitch and Epoman had a special arrangement and that Mitch violated that agreement more than a dozen times before he was banned? The Admin team did all the homework, did you? We don't spend the enormous time we spend daily doing the homework to ask for permission on banning someone.

It's actually very simple, either you trust that the admin team is making the proper decisions or you don't.

Becoming a premium member is a decision based on voluntarily helping IHD stay online. The benefit is clear, the site will be here tomorrow. That it will be here for others to benefit.

For your information, Admins and Moderators do their jobs on this site VOLUNTARILY!! on their own time.

Those of us that have been here for awhile remember Mitchorganbroker and some others who tried spamming the site repeatedly. Epoman fought hard to keep this site free of problems.  Sluff, you know I have said it before that you are doing a great job. It is obvious how much time it takes to keep everything going. Anyone who runs a site knows it takes complete dedication to have a reputable site.  I have been on other sites and never felt like I was a part of the inner circle---- there isn't that feeling here. I have always felt welcome and never feel like my questions or concerns are taked lightly.  If I am not doing anything wrong, then I never have to worry about being banned.  Again, admins are doing great job and using good judgement.  Thanks for all you do and all your time. :bow;
