Oh geez, I am so sorry this happened to you!!  What dialysis patients go through due to the ignorance of the professionals who should know better is tragic and so unnecessary.  I'm glad the surgery went well and hope the problem's over.

Can you get the neph to write an order for you to use the buttonholes yourself?

I don't know if it would help if I were to be hospitalized locally where my neph is not part of the team.  I will check into it.  Thank you for the advice because it is scary to be put in a situation of complete vunerability!!!!
