Wife to Rob who is currently doing Nx Stage Home Hemo Dialysis.
11/17/09 After 4 years on dialysis, Rob received a kidney from our George. Kidney is working great! YEAH!!!!

 That is right folks I am home and doing pretty good now. I even have a new friend that goes every where I do named herbie the piggy wound vac. I can't determine whether it is grunting like a pig or making farting noises but either way if it helps this crater of a wound heal I will deal with it. I also have a pic line because I get vancomiacin (spelling) and another antibiotic that I get through IV at home. Not complaining though because the freedom of the hospital is wonderful. How in the world I ended up with two different infections I do not know. I guess you could say that when I do it I do it right. LOL Thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. Thank you Goofyninna for the phone calls and love over the phone and a special thank you to Livecam and Vandie for the wonderful email cards. It means so much to know how much you care!! Keep those prayers coming as it isn't over yet! love, Earlinda

My hubby had a wound vac on his wound from his accident. Wow! I do not envy you the struggle with it at all. Good luck and good healing!
