Hello and welcome to IHD,
Could it be that the pain in your back in the area just below the neck could be something else and not “just” a side-effect of your current medication? Please ask your doctor about it!
… I remember ... when I was struggling with a broken ankle, which needed - over a period of five years - six operations to correct former “ankle-operation-mishaps”… and … whilst I tried very hard to get on with my life, despite “sporting” a very thick plaster over my right ankle, on-and-off, over a period of about five years ... and since the plaster made my right leg longer than my left leg, it made my “body-balance” naturally change ...
To cut a long and painful story short: when I finally was “plaster-free”, I instantly developed a terrible pain on my spine below the neck and, when I saw an orthopaedic consultant, he instantly ordered urgent physiotherapy, which slowly and after a while made my terrible headaches, pain and spine-problem eventually disappear and my balance became the same again as it was before the broken ankle-episode.
Please ask your doctor and an orthopaedic consultant to find out more … and I wish you the best of luck and better health, Kristina.
