Denver channel 9 news

"He and DaVita are scheduled to appear in court on July 20. If convicted, DaVita faces a maximum penalty of a $100 million fine per count. Thiry faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $1 million fine per count."

That's a shame. I could never really believe a man can own million dollars. Wonder how it feels.

Millions is not that much these days.   Sure, it is an amount many only aspire to, but even $2M in the bank only spins off about $40K in risk free money which is hardly enough to live on.\

In the greater sense, health is worth more.  Jobs went from being one of the richest men in the country to someone who was less well off than an commoner with one diagnosis.

 ... of course, it depends from which angle one looks "at things" ... but the knowledge of having $2M in the bank gives anyone a sound sleep at night, doesn't it?

... I have tried to find out more from "Denver channel 9 news" but unfortunately there was no access ...

... But what I am really intrigued about is this : how come that the CEO of DaVita is facing up to ten years in prison? What is the current situation and how has "it" developed since July 20th ?

Good point right there. You may save much and have much but with just one diagnosis, life can turn 360.
