For sure tell the dr all you symptoms, your worries and questions.  It might even help if you write those out and bring them with you so you don’t forget anything during the visit.

iolaire's advice is great, as usual! Spending time to write out a list of your questions and concerns really does help, as it helps you stay focused and really keeps the doctors on task!  And then at the following appointment, you can use your first set of questions as the baseline for followups and also add new questions.

Another thing to try: Ask them what's going well, or what's progressing as expected, etc.  Tracking your wins, even small ones, really helps keep perspective when everything else feels discouraging.

Stay strong!

If you are emotionally upset it would be a good idea to bring a advocate to support you during the discussion with the doctor.  It is easy to be distracted and not cover points you wish to address.  The advocate could and should track your questions and make sure they are covered.  I was single till I was 42 the biggest change is my wife kept me on track in meetings with doctors.  You sister could provide such a service to you and it’s a valuable service.

Aaisha, it always the right thing to be completely honest with your doctors, about emotional and physical challenges you are facing, otherwise they cannot treat you properly. I am truly sorry you are having so many challenges following the transplant, and it is worth remembering that stress can create many physical challenges beyond any that might be a result of the transplant. I know that when you are under stress it is hard to eat. Let them know exactly how you feel and maybe they can provide you with answers that will ease the stress.
