I think Sara sent me a PM on this low Phosphorus milk, well half the phosphorus.  The link is:   www.dairydelicious.com

If you call (open 24 hours a day) 1-877-432-4797 and say you want a "sample" they send you 3- 8oz boxes.  I've just ordered the sample and I'll let you know how it tastes.  MMMMMMM can't wait!

Tell them  ihatedialysis.com sent you!!!

Oh wow thank you! I hope it is NOT one of those "must be American!!" sites though  :(

Hey Angie,

If it is, let me know and I'll order the sample paclk and send you one.

Lorelle
Thank you :) I can ask you or Sandman :) That is good! I dialed it myself and it must  ONLY be the USA because when I dialed I didn't even get a dial tone or an operator. Just silence. I dial .. I hear it dial .. but never rings .. just silence. Anyone else get this? Anyone else in Canada have the same problem? Can someone verify that it is only an American number? Thx.

edit: Oh he finally answered. I guess there is no indication that you are on hold but you are. So he picked up and took my info and said he will mail it out to me! Thanks for all your help! Can't wait til I can try it! Thx! :D

Hi Amber,

I called and asked for 3-pack free sample.  If you order, a case of 27 (8 ounce) packs is $26.99.  It is available for shipment to Canada for additional shipping of $14.96 :( , but is not available to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Australia, or Europe -- forgot to ask about Alaska  ::)   Shipment usually arrives in 7 - 10 business days.  Right now can only be ordered by phone or on-line.

When I get the sample pack do you want me to send you one?

Might be of interest.  From their website.

Q: Will DairyDelicious be used to make other low phosphorus, low potassium products for kidney patients?

A: Yes. The Delicious Milk Company is planning to introduce low phosphorus cheese sauce at the beginning of 2007 for Macaroni & Cheese, toppings, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese and all.  ;D

They also plan to introduce low phosphorus puddings and other dairy products, such as delicious flavored milk and protein-enriched products.

Somebody please suggest that Dairy Delicious open a branch in Brazil ::).  Brazil is a great country but sometimes it´s sooooo backward! We just recently (2 years ago maybe) got 2% milk.

I got my samples the other day and if you ask me it has a funny after taste.  I've had two of them, and to be honest I'd rather drink half as much real milk.  But, that is just me.

By the way, since when can you store milk out of the refrigerator?  It came in those little boxes like juice comes in or similar to Rice Dream.

Does it say you don't have to refridgerate it? It might still say you have to right on it.

And if it does not taste like milk then I probably won't like it because I am VERY particular about my milk...  :-[ :-\

I wonder if I could get a sample in Canada .. I ordered SOMEthing .. but now I forget what lol  :-[

If its in juice type packaging and didnt come refridgerated, then it would be ultra heat treated, which means you can store it on the shelf until its opened.

We ran out of milk and  I used my son's on my cereal yesterday and liked it a lot. If I didn't need a lot of potassium at this point as a PKD pt (a real problem cooking a dialysis diet for him) I'd use it too and not even buy any regular milk. Avoiding the temptation for him.

Also I've cooked with it and so far no problems.
