So my treatment was yesterday. I finished my whole treatment but the techs saw that when returning my blood it went extraaa slow. Later on in thr tubing she saw there was clotting. Let me remind you on Monday I clotted and they were unable to return my blood. Usually adter dialysis im okay yeah somwhat tired but after these sessions this week im short of breath AFTER treatment and my legs are super tired. My body was extremely tired yesterday but I didnt sleep well... i wonder why. Does anyone understand whats going on? I dont want to worry hope its nothing serious.

You sound either dry or anemic. Maybe since you lost blood two treatments in a row, your hemoglobin is low. I would ask about it next treatment.

There are many other reasons for clotting blood-and the shortness of breath could be a clue. I would ask to get a complete blood panel done. A chest x ray isn't out of the question in this case, either.

Holly was on hemodialysis for 2.5 years-We did NXStage home hemo from January 2016 to December 22, 2016
Holly's best Christmas ever occurred on December 22, 2016 when a compassionate family in their time of grief gave Holly the ultimate gift...a kidney!

Have you had a full work up by a Hematologist? You may have clotting factor issues such as Factor V Leiden, which is one of two I have, and I'm on Coumadin for life.

Some patients have thick blood, your Neph. must be informed anytime something happens to you at the dialysis center or your reaction at home post dialysis. Your
Neph. has no clue and he is the only one that can adjust your Heparine etc..
There another trick to thin your blood, have some cinnamon with your morning hot chocolate. I was experimenting for some other purpose, then I noticed I bleed for
1/2 hr. post dialysis to realized - ah, I had tried cinnamon that week. Once I stopped using cinnamon , my clothing went back to normal, 2 minutes.
