I know we all have expenses, especially now during the holiday season. However, I need to bring the needs of our IHD.com site and web pages to the attention of our membership. 
It costs real money to run the forums and web pages every month.
Trina, Epoman's widow, is making the payments regularly for the IHD.com site in honor of her husband and his legacy.
He wanted this site to be able to perpetuate itself financially and not become a burden for Trina or her son. 
This is why he made the premium membership available.  It is 5 dollars a month or 60 dollars for the entire year.
This money keeps the website and forums running. 
There is no paid staff. We are volunteers.
The only people who are being paid are the website and forum platform companies and our web site designer and guru.

Please consider beginning or renewing a premium membership to IHD.com forums for the holidays. 
It would be a gift to keep this site available to future patients and families of kidney patients.
(Unfortunately at this time we are not nonprofit, so this donation is not deductible.)

I don't know where I'd be without IHD.  The people on this site have been so supportive for so many years.

I will happily be renewing my membership early next year when it comes due.

Thank you for the reminder, KitKatz. When I first became a member of IHD (after lurking for so long), I wanted to make some posts and not skip right to premium membership (seemed logical at the time, at least). Of course, after several months, it just slipped my mind.  :urcrazy;  So glad you posted this. I've just visited PayPal - hope I did it right.

IIRC in the Members Only section there is a thread that many of us have posted our contact info.  Is there a posted list of Membership Dates so we can look and see when we are due?

Or perhaps incorporate another line in the 'User Info' block listing Anniversary Date? This would be an easy enough method of notifying members when their annual dues need to be sent in.

I forgot to renew mine last year... I wasn't really on the site that much, so I didn't get any of the PMs... I usually try to renew it, even if I"m not on the site.. but, you know.. slippery mind.. *L*  will gladly renew next month...

... On the 7th December 2016 I have paid my IHD-Premium membership of $60.00 USD through an acquaintance who is with paypal
but this payment of $60.00 has not been acknowledged and now I wonder : is everything alright ?

I will be checking with Okarol on premium membership payments.  Okarol's mother recently passed away so I am trying to not bother her for awhile with IHD.com things.  Please be patient.  I will let you know what I find out.

Many thanks for your help kitkatz, it is very much appreciated, because it makes me feel a little insecure to have paid on 7th December 2016 my $60.00 IHD-premium membership through an acquaintance who is with paypal - all the way from England to the USA - without knowing whether or not the payment has arrived... I very much would appreciate to know that it all went well...
