Hey, like to introduce myself, W M pre dialysis 13% and stumbled on this site about a month ago. Love it! Seem like some of the coolest and most knowledgeable people in nephrology. Some of my issues that I thought were 'just mine' are common I finally see, finally don't feel alone w/ this mess for once. I've been on the kidney transplant list from Mayo Fl for over 1 year and like most of you hope to get that call! Well that's it, just wanted to do a quick into and wish you all a super 2014! Take care and I'll sure be asking some questions, this is better than talking to my nephrologist. Oh, no secrets here, name is Steve and from Florida!

A heart felt welcome to you Steve. So glad you joined us and ask away when you are ready. I started recently and thought it would be the end of my world. Not so.

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband, He is 4p and started PD October 2013. We have several living donors waiting to be tested for a transplant. Dialysis is a bridge to get us where we need to go.
He had a transplant in November 2019.
