"There Is No Place Like Home!"

« on: October 01, 2012, 08:28:52 PM »

Dog gone it, wer'e not going to Virgina Beach this year.  Busy season always get in the way of FUN!  Maybe in the Spring.   :pray; :pray; :pray;.  Which reminds me:
I have always wanted to go to my birth place for a visit.  I was only 1 year old when my parents were stationed in another country.  Never got to see Germany.  But thanks be to a little Angel named Lisa.  Her husband was stationed right at Landstuhl (?), Germany where I was born.  She had taken pictures over there, and oh my goodness, it is Beautiful.  So much History!  Simply Breathe taking and she comfirmed its beauty.  She was there!  Lucky gal.

I would love to go there and hopefully, things in foreign country's will settle down enough, I may go sometime.  I do want to go to Virginia Beach, but no luck this time.

Thanks Lisa for the awesome pictures of my birthplace!!!!  Im jealous!
God Bless,
lmunchkin :kickstart;

lmunchkin   Hey - if you do get to go to Virginia Beach, let me know ahead of time.  I'm in Fredericksburg and you will going close by.  We can finally meet. PS put the bike on a trailer and I'll show you some nice roads in the area.   Grumpy

I will do that Grump, but I don't have a trailer.  Would love to see different sights, especially on my bike!  What happened to you and your wife passing through Nashville.  Did that ever pan out?

How odd. I have always wanted to go to Virginia Beach. Of course, a dear friend lives there, but doesnt look as if I will ever get to go. Living in Calif. makes it a REALLY long trip too.
