Where's my Starbucks?

« on: February 17, 2007, 11:32:36 AM »

Some days are just pajama days.
A stay in your old torn up t-shirt day,
A curl up in your chair with your cat kinda day.
A can’t face the world with my hair like this day.
I try not to have ‘em too often;
They’re an addicting and dangerous indulgement.
If I concentrate too hard on my can’ts,
If I think and count up the what-ifs,
If I contemplate all of the whys,
And wonder about things I can’t change…
Yet some days are just that….a pajama day,
In my comfortable rags with my could’ves and should’ves,
And my self-doubting musings about choices unchangeable;
I’m allowed to be sorry for me and myself,
For the life that I wanted
And the dreams that I lost.

I spend a lot of time in mine as I never get any visitors and with this snow and no car I don't go anywhere neither. Looks like today is one of those Pajama Days even though I have so much I need to get done around here by tonight :(

Other than dialysis days, I spend most of my time in my P.J's. Not much to do when its cold outside.

Yeah exactly! And even though today is dialysis day I don't get dressed til it is time to get ready to go ;) PJ's are so soft and comfy and I find I get irritated by clothes easily. Am I the only one or is this what some of you find as well? I don't know if it is the fluid gain or what but clothes seem so uncomfortable (tight, itchy, etc).

Yeah, everyday is a pajama day for me, unless I ABSOLUTELY have to go somewhere, then, as soon as I get home, back to my pj's!!
