Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: July 30, 2012, 09:58:36 PM »

Why do people think they can bring back my health/kidneys with these supplements.  REALLY?

The latest video I had to watch was about Ambrotose Complex  aka  NutriVerus.

If anyone has heard of these and that it helps with kidney failure please tell me.  Also, can I take it??

I guess it is this little scoop of powder I mix in with my food that uses real nutrients that my cells need.

Now I know we are not supposed to take regular vitamins because some don't dialyze out and build up to a toxic level.

Why?  Why?  Do people keep trying to cure me?

Is "former" the operative word in that sentence?

Well, I watched the hour DVD and I've talked to 4 people, one of whom is on hemodialysis.  www.mannatech.com is the website that talks about the science of gyglobology and I will try the Ambrotose to see if it will make me feel better and help my skin improve.

Time will tell.

Okay I got the stuff yesterday.  It was in this big box and it was stuffed with mostly paper and this little jar.  Then I open the jar and it is 2/3 full~~~  3.5 ounces of powder that I'm supposed to take a teaspoon monrning and night.  That shit better work for $136.00   or $38 an ounce!!

I'll let you know.  Believe me if it makes my skiin better and the warts go away on my hands I'll be selling it.  Would be really great if it does work.

See.... I'm trying that "positive attitude" crap!

What does your doctor say about taking it? Does it have a list of ingredients?
Good grief woman! It could be ground up tree bark!
Anyway, I hope it works, but I am forever a skeptic, especially after reading this http://chetday.com/glyconutrients.htm

A lot of supplements don't work, but some do.  I don't know of any for kidneys that really works.  Most of them just pull water, if anything.  I do know of something that helps the heart.  My ejection fraction went from 19 (disabled) to 75 (70 is normal) after six months of taking Standard Process "Cardio-Plus".  If anyone has heart failure issues, you might want to try it.  I also took a strong fish oil during that period.
