Life is great!

« on: February 15, 2007, 01:51:29 AM »

HI Everyone,

Thanks to those of you who have sent me PMs.  I have been really sick with my Meniere's disease.  I have tried to get on the computer but could not focus. Get on for five minutes at a go and then have to turn it off.  I am really sorry I haven't been back to everyone.  I should be back on track by Monday so I will be back on deck then.  I have managed to put the start of dialysis off another month because they don't want to start me when I am so sick.  Every time I move my head I throw up.  It's like continuous sea sickness over a period of two weeks.  Nothing but staring at one spot on the wall eases the symptoms.  I'll go now but I will be back soon.

Love Lucinda xxx

Thanks everyone.  I will be back on deck soon.  My vision is only just clearing up now and I can really only concentrate for a few minutes at a time.  Thanks Rerun, I have my bloods taken every day at the moment because I spend a lot of time at the hospital on fluids because the throwing up is dehyrating me so much which in turn is not good for my kidneys.  Definitely just a severe attack of Menieres.  I have had it eight years now but haven't had an attack this bad for about two years.  On Monday I will read everyone's posts and try and catch up.  Would love to see what is happening with Jenna and Angela.  I hope they are both feeling well. Speak to you next week. Love Lucinda. xxxxx

Lucinda,

I've had that "everything spinning" problem before.  Ugh!!!  Can't the docs give you something for the nausea?  I take Bonine when it happens to me and it seems to help.  But mine has never been as severe as yours.  Gosh, I really feel for you.

Take care of yourself!
