An updated version of the AAKP Nutrition Counter is now available. This pocket-size brochure contains the nutritional values for standard portions of more than 300 commonly used foods, as well as menu items from 11 fast food restaurants. The nutritional values include protein, calorie, sodium, potassium and phosphorus levels. In this updated version, AAKP included the carbohydrate, fat and saturated fat of the listed foods - dietary values that must be closely monitored in kidney patients.

Thanks for the heads up, Zach!  I used my copy of the previous edition until it was in tatters.  I've just ordered multiple copies of the new one, thanks to you.  Now I'll have some to give away...

This seems like a money making thing to me. An hour of research on the Internet would do the same for virtually free. When I get home I will share the pocket guide I made for fast food restaurants.
