I think it is funny only because 20 years ago I dialyzed in a Catholic hospital and the Nun Sister Maria would come around EVERY day and squeeze my fistula.  I would tell her NOT to do that and everyday she went for it.  I was never so blessed than to get a transplant!

Ya when I was at the hospital unit (Catholic) before being switched to Self Care, the nun that came around would squeeze my hand but sometimes squeeze my arm and for some reason it was always the fistula arm. She didn't seem to realize. Sure it was the wrist and not where the needles are but still, we don't like that do we?
