dialysis headaches are gone!

Remember a month ago I made a post where my headaches came back while on dialysis, well as weird as it is when we stopped using a catheter and went back to my graft after it healed from surgery, the headaches are gone! I have no idea why switching from one access to another would of stopped them, but yep they are gone!

Oh, what a relief! Pun intended! That's terrific news. I can't imagine what those headaches must have been like. Well, they must have felt like headaches.
I'd be very interested to hear if your doc has any idea why a change in access would make a difference. Let us know if you solve this mystery.

Yes, I'll have to see what my dr. thinks, maybe it's the way the catheters placed, the material?

I'm glad your headaches have stopped. About a year ago I noticed that I would develop a migrane every treatment right at the end. Nothing helped so I mentioned it to my doctor and he prescribed manatol to be given to me an hour before end of treatment. Low and behold the headaches stopped. Something about the brain swelling a tiny bit on dialysis and that it would help.
