As most of you know I had a graftogram the other day. I haven't had a treatment since so not sure how it will run. I was just wondering, my graft now has a strong but normal thrill throughout the whole graft. Ever since I had the graft and this seems to be normal the thrill got fainter the further up the graft you went and it was the strongest at the surgical connection, now it's strong throughout the graft and doesn't faint the further up you go. My surgeon says  the flow is good but I was wondering if anyone else had a graft or fistula where the thrill was the same through the whole graft? I have dialysis tomorrow do to the holiday instead of Tuesday so if it runs fine then I will not worry about it. I have no numness or anything so I guess the flow is ok it just seems weird to me that there's no fainting points at all. I even looked at a canulating document and it suggested that the further up you go the thrill will become fainter.

This sounds more normal, Sullidog! Carl's fistula has a thrill all the way up his lower arm and you can even feel it in his arm pit!

Oh ok I can too so he must have an upper arm like me. I can just imagine being stuck in the arm pit, ouch!

Actually, Carl's fistula is in his lower arm, from his wrist to his elbow. It is a whopper!  :rofl; :rofl;

But we can follow the thrill all the way up through his inner upper arm to his armpit! Yup! Needles in the armpit don't sound too great.  :thumbdown;
