My temperature is fine,  my blood sugar is good,  my blood pressure is alright (my *normal* anyway) .... and yet at my dentist appointment today,  I wasn't feeling right at all. (I was so 'off' I wanted to jump out of the chair) .....  Of course,  any one of those things could've been different when I was sitting in the chair vs. when I got home to check them !!!  Ahhhhh,  happy, happy, joy, joy.  Well at least I've got another dental appointment down !!

Since you are pre-D, I want to share a story with you that may make you laugh but will hopefully show you that it is all too easy to blame everything on CKD.

Several months ago, I went wee wee.  Being the obsessive that I am (although I'd bet I'm not alone in this), I looked in the toilet bowl, expecting to see the usual foamy urine, and I nearly passed out when I saw that my urine was not only in full foam-mode but that it was also GREEN!  I nearly had a heart attack.  I just panicked, and I raced around to find my neph's office number.  I could hardly breathe, I was so frightened. 

That's when I realized that earlier in the morning, I had cleaned the toilet with a blue gel and, as per the instructions, had waited an allotted time to flush.  Only, I had forgotten to flush.  Add in my mildly foamy urine, and, well...you know the rest. ::) :P

yes our bodies are weird - just ask any of my ex girlfriends!!!!  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Seriously though nobody usually likes going to the dentist (and I have an appt in 2 weeks!!) so maybe that was part of it. Who knows.

Just remember Todd, some girls like big throbbing .... fistulas on men..... >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

wife of Gregory, who is the kidney patient: 
1986: kidney failure at 19 years old, cause unknown
PD for a year, in-centre haemo for 4 years
Transplant 1 lasted 21 years (Lucy: 1991 - 2012), failed due to Transplant glomerulopathy
5 weeks Haemo 2012
Transplant 2 (Maggie) installed Feb 13, 2013, returned to work June 17, 2013 average crea was 130, now is 140.
Infections in June / July, hospital 1-4 Aug for infections.

Over the years:  skin cancer; thyroidectomy, pneumonia; CMV; BK; 14 surgeries
Generally glossy and happy.

When my son was little he had bright green poo.  Upon googling green poo, I discovered that it was the blue Kool Aid that he had drank the day before.  Some students had conducted an experiment to see which types cause poo to change color and that was how I found out.
